Te Whakapapa O Te Whānau Mihaere
(Our Genealogy)

Welcome to the Mihaere Whakapapa page.

The Mihaere whanau has grown significantly since its beginnings when a man named Mihaere married Ketiana Rewi, had six children and through them spawned many tamariki and mokopuna over nearly eight generations up to today.

Those six tamariki are, Pukunaki; Paremata; Te Awhi; Pukupuku; Piwa; and Teko.

The first stage of this page is posting the major whakapapa charts. The building up of these resources will take some time, so please keep checking in to see the progress being made. If you have Mihaere whakapapa or have questions please do not hesitate to contact Peter Mihaere who is responsible for building the whakapapa database.
